"Damascene" Table Lamp

Description
This original Tiffany Lamp features a domed Favrile Glass shade formed by deep green glass with thick vertical ribs and all-over surface decoration in the “wave” pattern in silvery-iridescent glass; this motif has also been referred to by Tiffany collectors as “Damascene.” The interior of the shade was cased in white glass, allowing for the amplification of light.

The shade is supported by an original bronze Tiffany Studios lamp base with three arms supported by a thin stem rising from a squared foot with irregular surface texture.

Both the shade and base of this authentic Tiffany Lamp are signed.
