Description
Available today, with domestic shipping in NYC metro area included, the "Circus" Armchairs in Metal and Fabric by Peter Maly, 1990s are nothing less than spectacular.
This pair of armchairs is made with a steel frame and circular fabric seats. The chairs have a gray seat and a black and white checkered backrest, which gives them a fun and playful aesthetic. Also, the curved backrest and soft cushion makes these chairs super comfortable, and the unique design allows them to be styled into any home. Both chairs have been refinished and reupholstered to be in good condition.
This fabulous armchairs are showcased in our showroom next to a Celina sofa and a Novo Rumo Coffee Table an the convo looks nothng less than spectacular.
About the designer:
Peter Maly studied interior architecture at the Fachhochschule Detmold, graduating in 1960. Between 1960 and 1970 he worked as a journalist and interior designer for a German interiors magazine. He opened his own design and interior architecture studio in 1970. He has worked for many years with companies such as Anta, Behr, Cinna, Cor, Interlübke, Jab Anstoetz, Ligne Roset, Mauser, Thonet et Tonon.
His scope of works takes in product design, textile design and 'exhibition design' for certain events such as trade show stands for Ligne Roset. In addition he has worked on the design and fit-out of Ligne Roset stores all over the world, including Moscow, New York, Hamburg and Berlin. His works have been recognised with numerous design awards. -
