Description
Art Deco English Envelope Yacht Bar – Flamed Maple & Mahogany Masterpiece by Turnidge of London
English Art Deco envelope—or flip-top—yacht bar, flawlessly restored to its original glory, adding a few new metal details. Crafted from richly flamed mahogany with a gleaming finish, this versatile piece opens into a stunning half-round “stand-behind” bar, complete with front and back access, or discreetly folds into a compact, elegant cabinet.
A triumph of 1930s–1950s design, these ingenious bars were created for high-style yachts, blending luxury with function. With its sleek chrome speed lines and a full complement of original interior metal bar accessories, this piece radiates sophistication. This is a special bar. we learned about these in Paris over 30 years ago, and they have continued to set a high point for the perfect at-home stand behind bar.
Manufactured by the esteemed Turnidge of London, this is the finest example of its kind we have ever offered—flawlessly restored and simply radiant. Whether styled with a pair of bar stools for intimate gatherings or showcased as the centerpiece of your next celebration, it promises to steal the spotlight. Fitted with small caster to help make it easy to move from the wall to become the centerpiece of your next party.
From a classic Art Deco interior to a mid-century modern space—or even a contemporary setting—this yacht bar is the ultimate showpiece for collectors and entertainers alike.
