Description
This beautiful and colorful mouth-blown carafe bottle decanter, model "Tropico," was designed by Goran Warff for Pukeberg, Sweden in the late 1960s. It features a teak stopper and boasts a stunning blend of colors, ranging from aquamarine and azure to forest green. The carafe is in very good condition, making it a decorative and cherished piece.
Pukeberg, established in Sweden in 1871 by C.W. Nystrom, a former employee of Kosta, transitioned ownership to Arvid Bohlmark in 1884. In 1888, it became part of AB Bohlmarks Lampfabrik. The company began producing decorative glass in the 1930s and continues to operate today. Notable designers who have contributed to Pukeberg's legacy include Uno Westerberg, Goran Warff, Ann Warff, Eva Englund, and Erik Hoglund. -
