Description
This stunning oval gold leaf gilt mirror dates to the late 19th century and symbolizes all the romantic elements of Louis XVI style as little posies stationed around the frame. Delicate floral appliques are carved with exquisite detail to capture their organic beauty, delightful under the radiant gilding. Red bole adds dimension to the beaded texture of the inner molding around the original mirror plate lightly touched with foxing. Strung with picture wire on the back, ready to install in your interior. Please view the detailed images to see more.
