Classical sterling silver compote. Made by Moore for Tiffany & Co. at 550 Broadway, New York, ca 1865. Wide and curved bowl on knopped shaft; round and raised foot with Greek key rim. Cast fruiting strawberry branch “strewn” around foot top. Early mark (1854-70) including maker’s and retailer’s stamps and pattern no. 375. Very good condition.
