Description
William Taylor lived 1738 till 1801. Beautiful case with unusual fret carved sides of case. The carved broken arched pediment with carved rosettes and trailing vine, reverse glass panels over a brass dial, shaped pendulum door flanked by fret carved edge, base with raised panel and all ending on bracket feet. Provenance; Estate of JP Morgan, Long Island, NY.
