-
Description
Made in the United States in the 1950s by Karpen of California, this chair features a timeless design. Two pieces of solid wood come together to form the Y-shaped legs, which provide the the chair with a sleek and dynamic stance, not unlike a Kagan design. Beneath the upholstry is a wooden frame, which supports a stunning shape. Thick cushions provide unparalleled support, and two buttons in the backrest provide visual interest. Finally, the dip in the back is simultaneously interesting and comfortable. This is an excellent chair, and priced to allow room for recovery.
In pictured condition. Upon purchase, we will redo the legs, re-ebonizing them and sealing them. We have left in in its original condition to allow you to reupholster it in your own way. We can provide reupholstry at your cost.
