Vintage French Blown Glass Wide Neck Demijohn Carboy in Teal Green

$ 1,400
  • Description
    French Demijohn / Carboy originally used for transporting wine (early 20th Century, France).
    Composed of attractive teal green (more green than blue) free-blown glass exhibiting trapped air bubbles within the glass itself with a squat neck with sheared lip (very unique shape, particularly given the thick, wide neck).

    Both the interior and exterior of the piece have been thoroughly cleaned.
    H: 24.5" x Diameter: 17.13"
    Other Italian and French demijohns available separately. See group shots for other examples. (This bottle is second from the left on the bottom in the group images.)
