An exquisite Louis XV style mirror, featuring an elegant ivory-painted gesso frame richly adorned with gilt embellishments. The shaped and scrolled surround is intricately detailed, embodying the graceful asymmetry and fluid curves characteristic of the Rococo period. Surmounted by a stunning shell-form crest—an iconic motif of the Louis XV style—the mirror is further enhanced with acanthus leaf accents and foliate flourishes in warm gold gilt.
