With pierced interlaced back splat centering the carved crest of Eyre (an armoured leg), flanked by floral spray carved stiles with rollover ends, raised on front cabriole legs having shell-and-swag decoration, ending in superbly executed undercut talon-and-ball feet
The armorial crest in the back splat appears to be the crest of the Eyre family of Eyrecourt Castle, Co. Galway, Ireland. -
