The circular convex mirror plate within an ebonized reeded slip and leaftip moulded surround; conforming frame with applied spherules, surmounted by an eagle clenching a tasseled chain-shot in its beak and perched atop an acanthus-carved support with spherules; acanthus-carving at the lower crest and two-arm candlebranches to the sides.
