Maison Jansen gilt wood and mirrored bar cabinet 1940
-
Description
This cabinet bar by Maison Jansen was made in the 1940s, with beautifully carved wood feet, body frame and door handles, and with iron pieces between the legs, all fully gilt. It features a body in French oakwood fully covered with grey smoked mirrors. The interior, for stowing away glasses, bottles, or other staples of your bar, features six different compartments with solid oak shelves. This cabinet would make a beautiful focal piece for a living room with plenty of French Neoclassical charm. It has been fully restored, no chips or cracks on mirrors, with an amazing gilt patina.
