PAIR OF 19TH CENTURY BRONZE CANDLESTICKS CONVERTED TO TABLE LAMPS
Gilt and patinated bronze. The capital with leaf and berry decoration in the form of a vase above a platform of sculpted fruit. The central tapering reeded column with acanthus leaves at the base. The whole resting on circular bases with acanthus leaves and berries in relief. The candlesticks have not been drilled.
France, Restauration period, circa 1830.
Converted to lamps with faux candles and electrified for the UK. Shown with 14" gathered silk shades available separately.
