Price Upon Request
  • Description
Pair of wall or ceiling lights, 1950s

    Each: 9 1/2 in. (24 cm) diameter; 4 1/4 in. (11 cm) deep

Porthole-form and nautically-inspired wall and ceiling lights were produced by a number of manufacturers in the mid-20th century, notably by Artemide with the "Sigma" light designed by Sergio Mazza, and Azucena with the "Tommy" light designed by Luigi Caccia Dominioni. These unattributed examples are distinguished by the simplicity of their form and hardware, the solidity of construction, and patina of the bronze.
