Modern Resin Art by Andreas Anastasis

$ 11,070
  • Description
    From the series e·the·re·al, this artwork bathes the canvas in soft, sand-washed hues that flow from a warm center of sienna and chestnut. The ink and resin blend effortlessly, forming gentle, translucent layers that radiate like heatwaves on a quiet horizon. The composition feels like a breath suspended—subtle, still, and deeply grounded. Its organic form exudes a comforting presence, evoking the emotion of returning home or the memory of golden dusk. Each gradient is carefully guided, creating a visual warmth that feels both intimate and expansive. The work is serene yet powerful in its restraint, revealing new depth the longer one gazes. Framed in hidden wood and entirely unique, this piece becomes a soulful anchor in any space—perfect for collectors seeking quiet emotion and elegant simplicity. It is not just seen, but deeply felt, resonating with calm energy and timeless beauty.

    ABOUT ANDREAS ANASTASIS
    Andreas Anastasis is a London-born, New York-based multidisciplinary artist whose sculptural, photographic, and cinematic works radiate emotional gravity and mythic depth. Born in 1975, Anastasis draws profoundly from his Greek-Cypriot ancestry, channeling classical mythology through a soulful, contemporary lens. His creations do not simply echo the past—they reawaken it. Through form, shadow, and movement, he captures a reverence for the human experience, rendering the ephemeral eternal and the sacred tangible.
    Working seamlessly across mediums, Anastasis transforms his subjects into living relics of transformation. Each sculpture emerges through a process of performative creation—a ritual of movement, emotion, and energy—culminating in resin forms that feel both ancient and alive. His photographs and films extend this spiritual vocabulary, offering poetic meditations on beauty, vulnerability, and transcendence. Whether suspended in motion or frozen in luminous clarity, his works are imbued with an aura of quiet intensity, inviting reflection and awe.
    His work has been featured in prestigious exhibitions including Laverdin Fine Arts, Art Basel Miami, and the Tappan Art Gallery in Los Angeles. Internationally recognized for his evocative films and sculptural mastery, Anastasis continues to push the boundaries between disciplines with a voice that is at once timeless and unmistakably modern. His most recent resin sculptures are now represented by Mogul at the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles, offering collectors and curators a rare opportunity to encounter the sacred through sculpture—poised between power and grace, silence and revelation.
