Pair of German 800 silver pheasants, ca 1910. Rooster and hen crouch low with heads turned in alarm. The hen flaps aggressively while the rooster is tucked-down. Beautifully delineated plumage and clawed, scaly talons. Can be arranged to suggest external threat or internal conflict. Hanau marks. Very good condition with deep patina.
