A Spanish Baroque period low table in walnut with single-slab top and a single drawer. The slab top, richly patinaed with characteristic age and working marks. The frieze incorporates a single drawer with period pendant iron pull and mounting plate. Four bobbin-turned legs of substantial proportion support the structure, connected by shaped box stretchers terminating in turned feet. The drawer front displays carved recessed panels of Spanish baroque form. Traditional mortise and tenon joinery throughout. Iberian walnut with natural color variation and grain. Period wear with structural integrity intact. Circa 1780.
