Description
Rare, elegant and highly decorative studio pottery ceramic vase. No 10. Designed and made by famous German studio ceramic artist Ilse Ludwig-Korbel, Tittmoning, Germany, 1980s. Dated and artist's sign at the bottom. 1984.
We have a total of 10 ceramic vase models of this artist (please see the last two images). They will be sold individually.
Executed in glazed dark green, brown and yellow ceramic.

Diameter: 5.12 in. 14 cm)
Net weight ca. 630 gram
Condition:
Good original vintage condition. Wear consistent with use and age. NO damage. For its condition, please see the images in the listing.
About the artist:
The German ceramic artist Ilse Ludwig Korbel was born in Wetzlar, Germany in 1925. She graduated from the Werkkunstschule (Arts and Crafts School) in Wiesbaden in 1948. From 1956 to 1957, she trained at the Werkkunstschule (Arts and Crafts School) in Darmstadt. She was a student of Ida Erdös Meisinger and Hentschel. She obtained her master craftsman's certificate in Kassel in 1957. She has been working since 1957 in her own ceramics workshop in Tittmoning, in the Upper Bavarian district of Traunstein. A German ceramist with numerous awards. -
