Description
Mid-century modern Murano glass Italian Design artistic pair of organic wall lights or Flushmounts, composed of new handmade rectangular brass structures with vintage crystal clear Murano glass curved panels interlocking in the middle, attributed to Mazzega Murano, infused with fuchsia red and blue confetti murrine, creating a dynamic play of color and texture. The glass is richly detailed with tactile, slightly raised surfaces and an organic, semi-molten flow that echoes the hand-blown technique. Each sconce has 12 overlapping, curved glass segments, 6 on each side, fixed on the brushed and polished brass backplate through evenly spaced domed brass studs. The layering and open overlaps create dimensionality and softly diffuse light through the vibrant composition, giving off a radiant amber glow when illuminated.
The lights are closed at both ends by brass covers and can be used as sconces hung vertically or horizontally, or as flush mount ceiling lights.
Each sconce is fitted with 6 G9 sockets and wired for the US.
