    A good Jacobean Oak straight fronted chest of four full width drawers with geometric applied mouldings to the fronts and panelled sides. This chest has the drawers running on side runners which run on a deep groove cut into the thick sides of the drawers. This is an early form of construction which was replaced early in the 18th. Century by drawers running on bottom runners.
