Description
This sculptural side table is a one-of-a-kind work of functional art, carved entirely by hand from a single hardwood log. Rising on four interwoven legs, its form recalls branching roots or the skeletal framework of a tree, with flowing negative spaces that give the piece both lightness and strength.
The top preserves the tree’s radial grain and natural cracking, while the legs twist and merge with organic irregularity. Each curve and opening reveals the intuitive carving process, where the shape is guided rather than imposed. The pale wood tone enhances the sense of raw purity, allowing the table to stand as both furniture and sculpture.
Crafted with chainsaws, carving tools, and hand-finishing, the design reflects a direct connection to the material. Smoothly polished surfaces invite touch, while subtle fissures and grain variation keep the piece honest to its origin.
Perfect as a side table, pedestal, or sculptural accent in interiors that value organic design and elemental beauty. Its open, architectural structure makes it a striking companion in wabi-sabi, Japandi, rustic modern, or contemporary settings.
Finished with natural oils and waxes to nourish and protect the wood while preserving its light tone and tactile texture. Designed and made in Europe by Logniture, a studio dedicated to transforming raw timber into expressive, heirloom-grade furniture.

Message from Seller:
We do not cut down, we do not destroy, but seek out downed tree limbs toppled by fierce wind storms or driftwood from the local creek. But, in that moment of discovery all it takes is a tiny spark in the artist's eye and in his vision the piece becomes what it was always meant to be. P: +38.595.396.1045 E: logniture@gmail.com
