French Pair of Fossil Marble Iron Trestle Base Bistro Tables
-
Description
Dimensions: 28 ¼” H x 51 ¼” W x 23 ¼” D
A stunning pair of French bistro tables from the early 20th century with dark marble tops on industrial steel bases. The black stone slabs are punctuated with the remains of tiny marine fossils–like constellations in the night sky–becoming an unexpected feature of dinner service! Bases of cast iron featuring two pedestals met with a stretcher rod at the feet were once a brick red, now patinated with mottled patches revealing the metal underneath. Used together or independently, this unique set of antique bistro tables have so much potential to transform a patio, kitchen, or other creative uses.
