Pair Vintage Turned Solid Teak Drum Side Tables or Stools, Studio Made
-
Description
Designed and made after the style of American artist Chris Lehrecke, this pair of side tables began life as solid logs of teak. They were then placed into an enormous industrial lathe and hand-turned down to the shape you see here. Gentle curves on the sides enhance visibility of the interesting and varied grain, and wide bottoms and tops make for stable use with no risk of toppling under regular use. And unlike other solid teak furniture, these aren't insanely heavy, so they can be moved around quite easily.
In very good vintage and original condition. Next to no wear. Signed with a brand near the top, we unfortunately aren't able to pinpoint a manufacturer, though they are quite similar to Studio Solid pieces, or Miles and May.
