Description
This attractive west Persian rustic carpet shows a well-filled plain abrashed rust field centred by a dramatic chocolate and royal blue ragged and claws medallion with integral pendants and centred by en suite corners. Chocolate/royal abrashed border with a cartouche chain in red straw cream and powder. Cotton foundation medium coarse weave. Slight allover wear somewhat deeper in the brown areas. Light corduroy ribbing effect. Fairly good condition consistent with the age.
