Description
This red ground gallery format carpet features eight full and one half-height rows each of four pointed four palmette green quatrefoils. Filling the spaces are ragged palmettes and bulbous curled leaves. Navy main border with torn oak leaves small rosettes and leaf-bracket palmettes. Well-woven compact and robust with an upright pile of high-quality tribal wool. Very uncommon format. Good condition.
