An early 19th century English folk-art oil on canvas painting of a crowd of musicians in a tavern, with wonderful depictions of various characters all in period costume and playing different instruments, surrounded by pewter mugs of ale. Relined, in an antique walnut burl frame. The painting is entitled Dutch Concert, a form of concert when musicians play different songs at the same time! England, circa 1820.
