Swiss Trestle Table with Graffiti Carvings
-
Description
A large Swiss dining table with a planked top above a straight apron standing on canted and shaped trestle ends joined by a tie bar support. Notable for its graffiti carvings to the top. Table dates to the mid 19th century, while the carvings are 1950s probably when utilized as a refectory table at an alpine boarding school. Eye catching shape and wonderful color in addition to the conversation-starting carvings.
