Art Nouveau glass decanter with engraved silver overlay, ca 1900. Globular bowl and tall cylindrical neck with helmet mouth and high-looping handle in silver collars; ball stopper with shaded plug. Star cut to underside. Fruiting grapevine silver overlay and asymmetrical scrolled cartouche engraved with interlaced script monogram. Glass is red. Silver fully marked including maker’s stamp (Alvin) and no. R3615QT. Very good condition.
