Description
Edwardian Georgian sterling silver kettle on stand. Made by Elkington & Co Ltd in Birmingham in 1904. Bellied bowl with half-gadrooning. Cover hinged and gadrooned. Leaf-capped scroll handle mounted to shells and leaves. Upward-tapering leaf-wrapped spout with flowering branch on stippled ground. Round stand with three leaf-capped supports on shell feet; stretchers supporting central ring with heating element. Gadrooned rims.
Fully marked. Very good condition.
