An elegant wall mirror with brass frame, Italy, 1950s.
The brass frame, slender and gently moulded, discreetly follows the sinuous contours of the shield, imparting both refinement and sobriety. The natural patina of the metal, developed over time, adds warmth and depth to the profile, enhancing the perception of the reflective surface and underscoring its authenticity.

The shield design, with its elegant curvature at the upper edge, is characteristic of Italian production of the first half of the 20th century, a period in which mirrors were conceived not only as functional objects but also as decorative elements capable of defining space with lightness.
