18th CENTURY DELFT OCTAGONAL BALUSTER VASE IN THE CHINOISERIE TASTE
Large eight sided vase decorated with figures arranged in a landscape, peacocks and other birds, and oversized bunches of flowers in various scenes on the surround all in the Chinese taste.
Lambrequins around the base and a decorative border to the top with further floral designs.
The Netherlands, 18th century.
Signed on the base, from the De Paauw factory (The peacock factory) 1651-1774.
