Pair of Sumptuous Tiffany Victorian Classical 5-Light Candelabra

            Description
          
          Pair of Victorian Classical sterling silver 5-light candelabra. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1883. Each: Central flower bud surrounded by five wraparound s-scroll arms rooted in leaf surround; each arm leaf-wrapped with twisted lobing and terminates in single socket with same. Shaft upward tapering with twisted lobes and applied wraparound gadrooned border set in cast leaf-wrapped base; hexagonal base mounted with same and resting on corner leafing scroll-mounted paw supports.
 
 Sumptuous design that captures the dynamism and effervescence of the late 19th century.
 
 Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 7824 (first produced in 1883), order no. 3481, and director’s letter M (1873-91). Very good condition.
