Pair of wall sconces produced in Italy during the 1950s, attributed to Stilnovo. Each sconce features a vertical curved support in black lacquered wood (newly refinished), mounted on a burnished steel structure with a central brass fixture. The spherical opaline glass shade is partially enclosed in a burnished steel cup, providing diffused light. The brass elements show appealing signs of oxidation consistent with age, adding depth to the material’s surface.
Designed to accommodate standard E14 bulbs, these sconces are suitable for use in both Europe and the United States.
