The rich golden yellow body of this Tiffany Favrile glass vase is adorned with an intaglio “leaf and vine” motif that descends from the everted rim before spreading across the shoulder and gracefully encircling the baluster form. The decoration reflects Tiffany Studios’ dedication to botanical accuracy, from the finely carved veins of the foliage to the gnarled bark of the thick vine. The texture of these naturalistic details creates a striking contrast to the vase’s iridized surface, enhancing the dimensionality of the design.
