Cast bronze wind bell/chime made by former Cosanti Soleri Foundry metalsmith and designer, Joe Ursutz, Sr. (ca. 1960s, USA).
Ursutz, who was invaluable to Paolo Soleri during his career at Cosanti, inspired multiple wind bells. He later went on to form his own foundry, "The Bells of Carefree" which only operated from 1967-1969 selling exclusively in Arizona, making them exceedingly rarer than the Soleri Bells.
Ursutz sold his company to Jeff Cross who renamed it, "Harmony Hallow" and later passed away in 1990.
This particular bell is dense and texturally layered with round, grape-like clusters and deeply slotted sides, creating a deep, resonating tone.
Very good, vintage condition with natural patina, scuffs and light, general wear present, as shown.
Incised "JEU" initials present to the top.
