Description
This rustic NW Persian semi-coarsely woven scatter with a cotton foundation shows a varying rust subfield; pinched at only one end with flowering vases vertically flanking an abrashed light blue 8-lobe medallion with pinwheel rosettes in light yellow and pale blue. The indigo field shows fringed lozenges and rosettes in the corners. Light blue main border of bracketed rosettes and joined slanted leaves. Slight end reduction, otherwise good condition. Corroded blacks.
