    Founded in 1872 in Copenhagen, Fritz Hansen is one of Denmark’s most influential furniture manufacturers, renowned for its role in shaping the global identity of Scandinavian modern design - collaborating with such luminaries as Arne Jacobsen, Poul Kjærholm, and Hans J Wegner. This early modernist chair design has a barrel back with no arms over a solid beechwood base and angled back legs. Original brown leather is studded along the seat back edge. Manufactured by Fritz Hansen under Model 1514. Seat recently updated in a brown velvet.
