    Designed in 1955, the Medea chair is a landmark of post-war Italian design. Vittorio Nobili’s sculptural use of molded plywood creates a fluid, ergonomic form, paired with slender iron legs that emphasize lightness and modernity. Awarded the Compasso d'Oro in 1956, the chair is recognized as an icon of mid-century industrial design. This example remains in good vintage condition, showing signs of age consistent with age.
