MINIATURE DOLL-SIZE STAINED FRUITWOOD ARMOIRE
Probably French, circa 1880-1910
Item # 403FPM02P
A very well-made doll-size miniature armoire from the turn of the century, the armoire features an arched crown with a stepped molding over a pair of conforming raised-panel doors with original barrel hinges and cut steel lock escutcheons, these opening to reveal an adjustably shelved interior with two shelves, the whole raised over bracket feet with a scroll-cut apron.
Similar cabinets are featured in Paris Etrennes catalogues from the late 19th and early 20th century.
Measurements: 19 1/4" H x 6 1/8" D x 12" W

In fine original condition with all original hardware and two shelves; early oxidized finish with scuffing and gentle surface history; a fine presentation with two mounting tabs on the reverse in order to wall-hang the armoire. -
