Joe Goode

Joe Goode (born 1937) is an American artist associated with the Pop Art and Light and Space movements. He is known for his paintings and sculptures that explore the relationship between art and everyday life, often incorporating images of everyday objects and materials.
Goode was born in Oklahoma and raised in California, where he studied at the Chouinard Art Institute in Los Angeles. His early works were characterized by their use of commercial imagery, such as milk bottles and cigarettes, and their focus on the material qualities of paint and other media.
In the 1960s, Goode began experimenting with the use of light and space in his work, incorporating reflective surfaces, neon lights, and other materials to create immersive, experiential installations.
