Paul Follot (1877-1941) was a French designer and decorator who was an important figure in the Art Deco movement. He studied at the École Boulle in Paris and later became a member of the Société des Artistes Décorateurs.
 
Follot's work was characterized by its use of bold colors, rich materials, and intricate patterns. He created furniture, textiles, ceramics, and other decorative objects, and his designs were known for their luxurious and elegant style.
 
One of Follot's most famous works is the interior of the Hôtel de la Païva in Paris, which he designed in 1908. The hotel featured sumptuous furnishings, intricate woodwork, and decorative motifs inspired by classical art and design.
 
Follot was also known for his collaborations with other artists and designers, including the glassmaker René Lalique and the painter André Derain. He played a key role in the development of the Art Deco style, which became popular in the 1920s and 1930s.
 
Today, Follot's work is highly regarded for its elegance and sophistication, and his designs continue to inspire artists and designers around the world.
