Tantuvi is a NY based design studio comprised of designer Arati Rao and artist AdamSipe.
Our cotton and hemp dhurrie rugs are inspired by early experiments in formal abstraction and closely related folk patterns from around the world.
Tantuvi has its roots in design, reimaging what handmade in India can be. We work with artisans that maintain India’s heritage techniques and immense historical knowledge. Our vision is thoughtful design, community, and small scale production which directly supports artisans making work in a sustainable way.
