David Weeks

David Weeks is an American designer known for his contemporary lighting and furniture designs. He was born in 1968 in Athens, Georgia, and received his education from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD).
 
Weeks established his own design studio, David Weeks Studio, in 1996 in Brooklyn, New York, where he creates a range of products, including lighting fixtures, furniture, and home accessories. His designs are characterized by their playful and sculptural forms, often utilizing geometric shapes and patterns.
 
Weeks' work has been exhibited in museums and galleries around the world, including the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, the Museum of Arts and Design, and the Victoria and Albert Museum. He has received numerous awards and accolades for his designs, and his work is held in the collections of major museums and private collectors worldwide.
