Ico Parisi
Italian, 1916 - 1996
Ico Parisi was a Sicilian-born architect and designer. He was one of the most influential figures of midcentury design. A Renaissance man, Parisi was also a filmmaker and a glass and jewelry designer. His sofas were extremely popular with high-end clients, as well as his desks and chairs. He was known for utilizing wood and metal in his work. Parisi's designs embody the funky modernist style of the early midcentury age. Ico Parisi furniture remains popular worldwide.
