Marcia Roberts, a native of Los Angeles, spent her formative years in the vibrant city and graduated from Hollywood High School. She pursued her higher education at Connecticut College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Additionally, she enriched her artistic perspective through studies at the Falmouth School of Art in Falmouth, England.
In the 1970s, Roberts laid the foundation for her artistic career by establishing her studio in Santa Monica. Her exploration of light and space inspired her to experiment with a wide array of technologies and materials, shaping her distinctive artistic style.
