Michael Sean Stolworthy
MSMD | STUDIO
A technology driven designer with an intrinsic passion for creating extraordinary things, Michael pushes the boundaries of style with his bespoke works of art. Approaching his designs with an unconventional perspective and proprietary technique, he finds a true sense of creation in exploring the possibilities of form through digital technology and emerging manufacturing processes. His studio was born out of a long stemming desire to branch away from the daily grind of the corporate design world to do something niche and peculiar. Fascinated by the sinuous anatomy found in nature, he began his studies in ornamental horticulture and plant biology, later going on to study a diverse curriculum in traditional arts & digital design earning a degree in Media Arts & 3-D Animation. A stint of time spent working in a stereo-lithography lab that catered to the medical industry printing 3-D facsimiles of human skeletal structures helped shape his organic approach to his work. His career has been cultivated through creative roles designing and creating 3-D animated visual effects, digital media art, stage and event designs, exhibitions, and furniture & objects. Over the years, he's designed for clients such as Marvel Studios, Ferrari, Microsoft, Samsung, Magnavox, Philips, Kodak, LVMH Moët Hennessy, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Las Vegas resorts, and many others.
