Benjamin Genocchio is the Editor-in-Chief of Incollect Magazine, online and in print. He has spent over two decades working in the visual arts and design in New York as an art critic, print magazine and website editor, art fair director and art gallery executive. Benjamin has a Ph.D. in art history and is the author, editor, and co-editor of 9 books as well as more than 3,000 articles, essays, catalogs, and reviews.
He was formerly the founder and first Editor-in-Chief of Artnet News, the world's most popular art news site by the number of readers, and previously worked as an art critic and correspondent for The Australian Newspaper and then for 8 years at The New York Times. He was then the Editor-in-Chief of Art + Auction Magazine as well as Artinfo.com before founding Artnet News. He is currently working on a book about the art market.
