1 Volume. John Bartlett, Familiar Quotations. Centennial Edition. Bound in full blue morocco with covers double-ruled in gilt tooling. Raised bands gilt with panels displaying ornate gilt detailing and label lettering. The top edge is gilt with gilt and morocco turn-ins and marbled endpapers. Comprised of a collection of passages, phrases, and proverbs traced to their sources in ancient and modern literature. Published by Little, Brown & Co. in Boston and Toronto, 1955.
