Description
1 Volume. William Shakespeare, As You Like It. Limited Signed Edition. Bound by Sangorski & Sutcliffe in full red Morocco with the cover displaying a scene with a peacock and two women on a balcony in multi-colored inlay with floral gilt-tooled borders. The spines display raised bands, bordering, floral panel details, and label lettering, all gilt-tooled. All of the edges are gilded with gilt-tooled turn-ins, watered silk endpapers, and doublures. This edition is limited to 500 copies numbered and signed by the artist of which this is no. 5 . Illustrated with mounted tipped-in tissue color plates by Hugh Thomson. Published by Hodder & Stoughton in London, circa 1910. Housed in a linen slipcase.
